I have made a perfume for my Mom as a tribute to her and her strength in fighting the cancer that is in her.
I have a perfume in my mind for my Grandma.
And now another perfumer has inspired me to try my hand at a perfume as a tribute to Grandpa too. As soon as I get that 25th hour in a day, I'll have it done - LOL
Most of my fondest memories are from the times I spent with my Grandparents. I remember them fondly often and it helps me to get through each day.
Saturday is hubby's last day at work. I was supposed to be today, but they are letting him go in for half a day on Saturday (they also let him work 20 hours of overtime this week) so we can get a head start on our bills for next month. After that - I don't know how we will do it, but we will manage - I always do thanks to the many lessons that my Grandparents taught me.
I am so gratful that I had time with them and that they instilled in me the lessons that they had learned while living and raising kids through the Great Depression.
Yes, I need to get on those tribute perfumes for them - I owe it to them.
