The Hubbard Ohio Auction will be taking a little time off and will start again soon

The auction in Hubbard, Ohio will be starting back up again on January 5th for the Monday auctions - and January 9th for the Friday auctions at 6pm.

Come early to inspect the items so you know exactly what you are bidding on as there are no returns.
Doors open at 5:15pm for item inspection and to get registered in order to bid

(These are VERY popular and take 10-12 minutes to cook so get your order in early so she can put you on the list - first come first served - YUMMY - Please don't forget to tip the girl at the snack counter as she works very hard and depends on tips for most of her wages)

It featured antique dolls and arcade games mostly, but there were also many other items too.

This week's auction finds

Because I have a gift shop in the front of my house, I really need a LOT of shelves and cupboards... for display and for storage.
I pretty much have enough of everything for my displays - although I still could REALLY use a few more dress maker's forms/dummies and I would love to have some nice mannequins to display my vintage clothes and my designer clothing. While I'm at it, I wouldn't turn down a few more "heads" for displaying hats either. LOL
Anyway, I'll get back on track now, this week I got a 3' or so metal shelving unit and a 5' or so one too. I will most likely use them upstairs as storage shelves for some of my glass ware and collectibles... .
I also bought an old changing table. I am going to convert it into a gardening/potting table. It will be great. I can store some extra pots and trays on the two bottom shelves along with my gardening hand tools.

I bought 2 cedar wardrobes to store my vintage linens... and my clothing designs.
I also bought an old dresser in which to store my towels, washcloths, sheets and pillowcases... . I love it. The top needs some work, but it has great style and usability.
I still need some more sturdy shelves.
Well, there's always next week. LOL

I bought a few odds and ends, but the best thing I bought was a 6' tall curio cabinet. I just displayed some of my gift baskets in it. It looks so nice.
